Senate passes Hanna legislation to name Geneva Post Office after Riccione

GENEVA, N.Y. - The U.S. Senate gave unanimous consent to a bill Friday that would name the Geneva Post Office for native son Steven Riccione who was killed in action during the Vietnam War.
On Sept. 27th, 1967, Riccione's platoon came under heavy fire and was pinned down. He went out from cover to aid a wounded soldier and firing back at the enemy at the same time. He was killed in the evacuation effort. U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna initiated the legislation in the House to recognize Riccione in is hometown.
